Quote of the Day: Fran Lebowitz

“Romantic love is mental illness. But it's a pleasurable one. It's a drug. It distorts reality, and that's the point of it. It would be impossible to fall in love with someone that you really saw.”

Great quote! I like the one she has about sitting down to write, looking "at her Webster's Second Unabridged with 9 million words in it" and thinking "all the words I need are in there, they're just in the wrong order."
Or something like that - but I probably just like that one because I'm dyslexic.

"Sex without love is an empty experience, but as empty experiences go it's one of the best"
Woody Allen
A funny quote despite his personal aberrations.
