Liz Spikol is senior contributing editor of Philadelphia Weekly. She writes the award-winning column The Trouble With Spikol, which began as a chronicle of her struggle with mental illness, and has since expanded into humorous musings on everything from graphic novels to how to use a mop. I watched the two parts of the documentary when it was on (couldn't find a full version but there are clips on youtube) and it was very good. There's a good few pages on biploar on the BBC website based around the program ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/tv_and_radio/secretlife_index.shtml ).
Stephen Fry definatly deserves the award, I'm glad he got it.
(And as a side note for American Stephen Fry fans, you should check out the BBC program he hosts called QI, if you havent already.)
