Sad-clad Mexicans

chopo2.jpg

Because people tend to (stupidly) connect goth culture with depression, suicidality and cutting, I thought it might be appropriate for me to offer this cool photo of goth kids in Mexico City, taken by my colleague Kate Kilpatrick. They don't look sad to me.

Thanks for the photo! They look great. Thanks for sharing bits from the Mexican blog.

It's funny how Goth doesn't go out of style. What has it been? Maybe 20 years? It's not a fad. Goth embraces, if you will, life AND death. So, seems to me to fit into Mexican culture.

stupid persons, these aren't goth kids, these are emo kids, that's a world of difference, emo is gay and goth rocks, emo is fashion and goth is culture, and here, in mexico, there are a lot of fashioned kids and they are emo, emo sucks!!

HAHA, they aren't goth! they are emo kids! fuckin' EMO kids.. bwahahaha, people who thinks that they are goth are stupid.. cause, go to this link and you'll see how goth kids look like:

i know that if ur happy then your happy is your sad then your sad u can't really explain it....emo kids the smaleest thingcan make us cruy and cut and stuff like that but Goth people we just tend to not really care what people think we do what we want and wear what we and and how we want to were it 2.....+these boys look emo to me not Goth.....goth is more then just the hair and all okay ....i am just saying

haha, i agree with jonathan, this is not goth at all, this is emo

uhhh, sorry, but those are 'scene kids' lol.

people need to know the difference between scene/emo/goth.

emo kids are the ones that go around crying and cutting, scene kids are the one that dress similary but are always happy because they know they're hott and everyone likes them lol

HA ha haah estupidos emos la verdad esos son los emos mas nieros que he visto que horrible!!

They are disgusting here in Mexico we HATE most of them and the ones in the picture are even more disgusting

cool photo

You're all injesting too much moon juice. They're just kids into music who like to dress different from the status quo. You all look quite pathetic with your smug comments attempting to cast labels onto those kids. There's no such thing as an "emo kid" or a "goth kid"... at least not the kind you clowns have in your imagination. They look like music lovers to me.

i agree everyone in society goth, emo, punk, metal, preps, at the end of the day ur no betta than the person ur next to you just remember if you label someone your liable to be labelled yourself which in the end makes you a sheep just like the rest...

fuck
just let em be
quit fucking putting labels on these youngsters. that shits fer soup cans dude. damn 40 yr olds and there blogs..

WHOA.
Scene Mexicans.
