Synchronize watches!

Thanks, D-Mac, for letting me know Thursday is National Depression Day. Wait, that's not right. It's National Depression Screening Day, which means you can choose from more than 1,500 sites nationwide to get tested for depression.

D-Mac sent me a link to this local website, and I couldn't help but notice the logo. It's a little person with its arms up, and the words say "Stop a Suicide Today!" Something about the happy person and the exclamation point seems too cheery. It's like having a smiley face with the words "I Tried to Kill Myself Last Year, But My Boyfriend Found Me and I Got My Stomach Pumped at the ER!" Of course, you wouldn't want it to be a sad logo, so I understand the situation they're facing.

Anyway, aside from the semiotics of the whole thing, just go Screening for Mental Health's website to find out where you can be tested.

Good point about the happy little guy.
