Brooke Shields is laughing right now

katie5.jpg
Tom Cruise is pissed off again. He really needs a better publicist. There have been reports that Katie Holmes is suffering postpartum depression—which, after what Cruise said about Brooke Shields, would be his just desserts. But Cruise denies the suggestion that Holmes is suffering.

Remember when Katie Holmes was cute, sweet Joey on Dawson's Creek? Now she's crying into her high-thread-count bedsheets at Scientology Central, not allowed to take anything stronger than a vitamin to make her feel better. Is she permitted Centrum, at least? Or are multivitamins verboten?

Life & Style magazine, that arbiter of truth and responsibility in journalism, quotes a "confidante" of Katie's saying that she thinks she might have made a mistake. Too late, sweet girl. Now you're stuck with L. Ron's spawn.

Who knows, maybe its still not too late for her to effect some kind of escape.
These guys seem to think so:

I read several Scientology books and actually took a few courses at one of there facilities. They spoon fed me info so slowly that it pissed me off, so I left and never went back. BUT, what I did learn from them was amazing. I just don't have the kind of $ that is required to move through their program. I admit that they are out there on alot of subjects but I am telling you they have access to some info, or technologies or whatever you wish to call it that is able to acheive exactly what they say it will acheive. The pharmaceutical companies are more interested in making money than trying to help any of us. Anyone who bashes Cruise for standing up to the drug companies, or Scientology without reading any of there books should shut up. I am not a Scientologist but I took courses and read there Idealologies. You guys are just barely smarted than monkeys. You are told what to think and what you believe. The masses are just a bunch of lab rats. Think this , buy this , wear this , do this . You guys are so easy to manipulate, It is pathetic. I am not a fan of Cruise or Scientology but at least I know what they are saying. You idiots get your info from tabloid tv. So please just shut up, Or learn about what it is that you hate so much ,so you can at least be informed about why you hate someone or something .

Yeah, the main focus of drug companies is in making money. It is true as well that unfortunately the "cures" or treatments they provide sometimes are almost as bad as the disease or illness they are advertised to treat. Do you really think only the Scientologists or only Tom Cruise knows this? Basic research and common sense leads many to the same conclusion. Of course scientology appears to have or even does have access to the resources needed to make their claims come to pass. They have the money of some of the big names in Hollywood falling all over themselves for this. I don't dislike Scientology "just because". I've read into it a bit myself, and I dislike it because of it's pseudo-spiritual mumbo jumbo that is just another philosophy that puts more of an emphasis on man than a loving and powerful God.
